Robert R. Waldo, Attorney
About Robert R. Waldo
Robert R. Waldo has been practicing law for 39 years. Currently his practice is in Dennis, MA, on Cape Cod.
In addition to the branches of his practice described on the home page, Robert notably represented a group of homeschooling parents in Massachusetts whose children were not allowed to participate in school athletics according to MIAA (Massachusetts Intercollegiate Athletic Association) rules.
He successfully sought an injunction against the MIAA, citing discrimination, resulting in the MIAA's changing its rules to allow homeschooled children to participate in school athletics. This then led to a statewide adoption of policy to allow homeschooled children to participate in other extracurricular activities, such as drama and music.
Before moving to the Cape in the 1990s, Robert served as Town Counsel in three towns in Worcester County. Robert is currently serving as alternate on the Old King's Highway Regional Historic District and he regularly volunteers in the "Lawyer of the Day" program at the Barnstable Probate Court.
